We love you Gramps!

Leo and Dean's great gramps has passed away. It is a terribly sad day today in our house. He was a wonderful grandpa and great-grandpa. We are so happy to have spent our last Christmas together with him this year in Napa. And I know he really enjoyed Leo as well. He was quiet but so caring and he will be forever missed.

We love you granny and please know that we are all here for you during this difficult time.

Lookin' good

Sad news

With our happy news on February 12 came sad news as well. Unfortunately, Leo's great grandmother Oma passed away. She was a wonderful, cheerful woman and her amazing stories will always live on and be passed on to Leo and his brother Dean.

Oma - you will be greatly missed.

Meet my brother

A little happier today

Leo wasn't so shocked by his baby brother today. It may have had something to do with the adorable alligator his godmother, Becca, brought him (well actually Dean) at the hospital. Once he got hold of that alligator he was all smiles. We even managed to get a bit of a smile out of baby boy Dean.

Leo and Elmo's World

In case you aren't familiar with the opening credits of Elmo's World let me share it with you (if you have ever babysat Leo, you may skip this portion of the update):

And now Leo's interpretation (if you listen closely there is a small shout out to Elmo's goldfish Dorothy):

Leo and his dance moves

Captured a couple videos if Leo shaking it. Unfortunately, he wasn't very good about looking at the camera but they are both pretty cute. Thanks to Poppi for sending the CD so that Leo can work on his harmonica skills.

Leo and friends

He woke up under his comforter and then proceeded to ask me for every stuffed animal in the room. Party in Leo's crib.
