Leaving 2007 BEHIND...

We can't wait to watch Leo grow in 2008. When he grows up he will kill me for this photo I captured on Christmas. HA!

Happy Birthday Melissa!!!

We all hope you had a fantastic birthday. In honor of you (and maybe your mom and dad) we decided to go to the House of Blues Gospel Brunch.

At first Leo wasn't so sure about gospel without his crazy aunt Melissa to dance with.

But once the music started and he saw the family getting up to rock out, he thought you would want him to wake up and enjoy the show.

He did want to show you how funny he looked in earplugs though. He thought it might make you laugh.

We had a great time but we really missed you on your brthday.

Fortunately we found a last minute replacement to fill the void.

Happy birthday Melissa, Kris and Tom!

Leo meets Santa Claus

Leo, Lauren and I visited Santa today at the Grove. After the two babies in front of him had meltdowns I started to get a little worried. But as you can see Leo was a trooper. He asked for the ability to crawl and I asked for an uninterrupted night of sleep. I have a feeling Santa is going to grant Leo's wish before mine!

Photo shoot in Christmas pajamas...

We received these great Christmas pajamas at the baptism. Unfortunately, we don't know who they came from! We love them though. Let me know if it was you. :-)

A couple more baptism photos...

The lifetime of guilt begins...

Just kidding! Leo is now officially a Catholic. We had a wonderful ceremony at St. Anthonys. Thank you to those who celebrated with us. And a big thank you to Leo's Godparents - Steve and Becca.

Shout out to Uncle Carson!

For being one of the only people who replies to the blog. Thank you for making us feel like we are talking to somebody! Katie...you are pretty great about it as well. Carson - Leo wanted you to once again see his beautiful legs in case you forgot and he also wanted you to see his new favorite toy.

First Food

Leo has been showing interest in our meals recently so it was time to give him his first real food - rice cereal. He seemed to like it fine but still prefers a good stuffed monkey anyday.

Father and son

Tom does not get enough face time on this blog. I absolutely love this photo. Two of my favorite men.

Forget the back...stomach is where it's at!!

He is sitting!!!

Well maybe for just 10 seconds on his own...but it was long enough for me to scream for Tom to get the camera and then for him to scramble through his bag to get it, turn it on, and snap this photo.

4 months old

This is Leo and "Sock" the monkey after our walk home from seeing Bee Movie at Mommy Movie Mondays at the Paseo. It was adorable how Leo had his arm around him the entire way home. I could not resist a photo. Leo is now rolling from back to stomach all the time. You cannot keep him on his back for a minute (this works really well for diaper changes!). However, he can't seem to find his way from stomach to back. So after a couple of minutes on his stomach he will start screaming bloody murder. But if you help him out and set him on his back, he will roll right back to his stomach. This is the fun game we play all day. He is also giggling at random things now. I just melt when I hear his sweet laugh. He thinks it is really funny when I kiss his cheek. He also thinks it is hilarious when I "moo" like a cow.

My last official day at Naked Juice is next Friday. I can't believe I will be a stay at home mom. Who would have thought? And to think - I didn't even like kids!
