Halloween Party

Leo celebrated Halloween with his best buddies today. Unfortunately it is not so easy to get a picture of five toddlers together at once! You will notice a solo of Miss Megan since I unfortunately cut her off in my picture! And she was the hostess of our wonderful party. Oops.

Elmo addict

Every day Leo gets to watch 20 minutes of Elmo while I get ready in the morning. We have created a monster. At 6AM when he wakes up, he walks into the living room gets the remote and repeats "Elmo, Elmo, Elmo". This scene plays out about 5 times throughout the day when Leo discovers the remote in one of my many hiding places. If only it were so easy for Tom and I to track it down at the end of the day when we have forgotten where we put it.

Elmo also has a fish that he loves named Dorothy. Yesterday I told Leo to say hi to Dorothy (thinking he would wave at the tv). Much to my surprise he strung his first two words together as "Hi Dorady" came out of his mouth. Nope...he doesn't say "hi mama" or "bye dada" but he does talk to a make believe fish on the tv. It is one of the cutest things he has said and I wanted to be sure and capture the memory on the blog. At least before we stage an Elmo intervention. This will closely follow his visit to the Betty Ford clinic to kick his pacifier habit.

Disneyland fun

Leo's 1st Trip to Disneyland

I was so excited to take Leo on his first trip to Disneyland. It was such a big part of my childhood and I couldn't wait to share it with Leo. I have so many great memories of going there as a kid. And lucky for us, my mom came along to join in on the fun!

Leo's Animal Sounds

Just like my dad

When I was folding laundry today (you can all pick your jaws up off the floor), Leo insisted on putting dada's socks on. Then he handed me an undershirt to put on him. I can't wait until he starts picking out his own outfits for the day because this one is a doozy!

A sneak peek at Leo's Halloween costume

Let's just say this lil stinker was not so happy when he tried on his Halloween costume today. I don't want to share pictures of the costume in all its glory. However, I thought I might share this sneak peek.
