Our Cute Cowboy

Is now 11 months old! Wow - how time flies. His three favorite things include pointing at absolutely everything, shaking his head "no", and harassing Jack.

Leo's Playdate

Leo had a date today with his friend Audrey at Green Street. She is pretty darn cute (and even half Croatian!). Thanks Jaime and Audrey for driving down to hang out.

Thanks Grandpa Tom

Never too early to learn how to read a set of construction plans.

Grandpa, did you see this?

Excuse me...

Shouldn't I be moving?

Would someone mind giving me a push?

Fine. I guess I will just have to do it myself.

Sleeping Picture #974

I just can't get enough of this little man sleeping. So cute. I want to snuggle up with him.

What do you do when it is 100 degrees?

Meet up with one of your best pals and relax poolside.

Gymboree Part 2

Yes. We spend a great deal of time here. Is it me or is Leo starting to look like he is over Gymboree?

This place again???

Gymboree

Whoever dubbed Disneyland as The Happiest Place on Earth has never been to Gymboree. Mom can sit back and relax (well sort of) while child is thoroughly entertained in a padded room for two hours. Not only has it gotten Leo and us through some rough afternoons but it also once got me through my first mom hangover when I accidentally drank too much the night before. Man we love this place.

All this dancing is making me tired

He is like the cool guy just groovin' by himself in the corner of the club.  He's just waiting for the right lady to approach.  I must say though, the footed pajamas really take this video to a whole new level.

My Favorite Milestone

Forget rolling, crawling, talking and waving. And who needs walking? The most exciting so far - watching Leo dance. Unfortunately, this video does not capture it in all of its glory but it will have to suffice for the time being.

The card was sent to me by my dad (Leo's Grandpa Carson) for Mother's Day. Because my dad only enjoys sending the most unique cards, I was not surprised to find that this one played music. Leo adores it. He points to it hanging on the refrigerator at every meal. We pull it down and the following ensues (you will need sound for this video):

Check out the feet.  Amazing.

Wonderful Mother's Day

Leo and Tom got me a new camera for Mother's Day and a delicious croissant. Also, I got to sleep in until 8AM. Woohoo. Then my mom came over and we all went to a Dodger's game. Hope everybody else had a wonderful Mother's Day as well.

Serious case of bedhead

Thank goodness nobody takes pictures of me when I wake up in the morning...

Oh wait...they do...Thanks Tom!!!

(Christmas morning 2007. Please note how horrified 6 month old Leo looks by his mother's appearance.)

Mr. Cranky Pants

I'm not sure Carson will ever come back after his last day with Leo. Leo made sure that Carson got back on East Coast time by waking us all up at 5AM this morning. He then proceeded to be incredibly cranky the entire day. I think Leo was just sad to see Carson go. Luckily he made it easier on Carson to leave him. The pictures that Carson took today pretty much sum up the day.

I think it is empty Leo!

Leo's Fake Smile

Uncle Carson came to visit but I am sad to say that I do not have one picture of the two of them together. Carson may be able to send me one but I must warn you that Leo is super cranky pants in it. I was able to snag some photos from Carson's camera though of Leo's new fake smile. He perfected it this weekend. The eyes squint and the mouth opens when you say cheese. It is hands down one of the silliest faces I have seen yet.
