Thanks Uncle Carson

Thanks for the gigantic stuffed panda bear. Leo was able to use it to gain some leverage while playing with the box it came in.

Leo's new friend

Leo loves his new friend.

He gave him hugs.

He read all about how to properly care for him.

He gave him a tour of the house.

But then his new friend told him that he would not see Uncle Carson until Christmas and Leo was pissed.

Leo acting silly

Sorry about my annoying voice over and over again. It is no wonder Leo can't handle being trapped in this apartment with me all day! I must drive him crazy. I was having no luck with the words but the video was too cute not to share. Leo's favorite blanket makes a cameo appearance in this film as well.

Ask and you shall receive

This is for you Carson. Obviously I was trying to get some more words out of him in the last video, but he would not cooperate. This one may not be as cute but he is very clear when he wants "up".

Leo and Koji

Leo was invited to a play date this afternoon with Koji after they both took marathon naps (something mom's love). Koji introduced Leo to a garden hose (apparently something toddlers love).

Sickness takes over

It has been a rough couple of weeks. Leo had a cold and throat infection. And just when we thought that was over, he got the stomach flu on Friday. Unfortunately, that meant I ended up with the stomach flu on Saturday. Tom was nice enough to take Leo to the beach for the day on Sunday so I could sleep. Of course I received a call later that day and poor Tom had come down with the flu as well. It was not a pretty picture at our house last night. It looks like we are all finally on the road to recovery. Hopefully some photos will soon follow this week - just in case anyone still checks the blog.

This is the most exciting (and only) picture I have since sickness took over our house. That blanket and pacifier have been Leo's best friends.

He speaks

When Leo turned one he had three words: mama, dada, and dog. In the past month he has said so many new words. It is so fun and exciting to hear what comes out of his mouth next. Some of his current words: na-na (banana), up, out, all done, uh-oh, hot, ouch, and ball. And the next two are so adorable and he says them both in the cutest most innocent baby boy voice: bye-bye and night-night. Sometimes my heart aches because it is so sweet.

The outfits were not planned

Just relaxing with my dad

What are you looking at?

So quick to point fingers.

Who would you believe?

A smile!

May be a smirk?!  But I'll take it.

Are these my crocs?

Or do they look a little big?
