Looking so grown up
and of course as serious as ever. Leo was at his friend Maya's house for a playdate. They got to experience their first earthquake together! I am throwing in a picture of Maya to show you that not all babies are as serious as the burrito. Oh and there is a shot of Leo's new fish face as well. This face is usually accompanied by rapid snorting. It really is quite attractive.

Sorry Blog
I have been neglectful. But actually, it is my camera that has been broken. Leo and I have been quite busy. A couple of outings that deserved great photos but I did not take any - Griffith Park being one of them. Here are some pictures from 4th of July on the beach for the time being. I didn't post them because none of them are really great shots of Leo. And I know that is what you are all here for.
Leo has started to stand on his own for long periods of time and has taken steps here and there the past couple of days. Hopefully my next post this week will be a video of him walking!
Contemplating life.

This looks like a comfortable place to sit.

Hope Grandpa Tom doesn't mind me sleeping/grabbing his head while he naps.

CA (and Leo) has gone hands free
Leo has decided to follow suit by going hands free even when he is in the house. Good thing he has had the opportunity to learn from his dad over the past few months about how to properly use a hands free device (yes...Tom walks around our apartment with an earpiece when he is on his cell phone...total dork).
By the way, please don't mention to Leo that he is talking into a phone charger cord.

There were other people at Leo's party
I promise. I realized after looking at my photos that it looked like Leo's party consisted of Leo, Tom and I. I have also received a couple of comments about it. Poor Leo. He does have friends. And would you believe me if I told you there were 30 adults and 6 kids there?!? I had to add a picture as proof for Leo so that he knew his friends were there.
